Deleting your account
Schedule deletion with a 14-day window to change your mind. What gets deleted (everything, documents included), what is kept, and why.
Updated on
Deleting your enisa.ai account schedules the deletion with a 14-day window during which everything keeps working and you can cancel. Once the window passes, we execute it permanently and automatically — everything is erased, documents included.
Only the account owner can do this, and it deletes the entire account — not just your user.
Before you start
- If you want to keep a copy of your information, request your data export before the deletion executes. Afterwards there will be nothing left to export.
- Download any invoices you need from Billing → Invoices (they remain available regardless: see below).
Steps
- Go to app.enisa.ai → Settings → My account → Danger zone.
- Under Delete account, read the summary of what gets deleted and what does not.
- Click Delete account, type the account name to confirm, and tick the acknowledgement checkbox.
- Deletion is scheduled 14 days out. We send you an email with the exact date and a link to cancel.
- During those 14 days the account works normally. You can cancel from the same panel (Cancel deletion) or from the link in the email.
- From the scheduled date onwards we delete it permanently. There is no way back.
If you have work in progress (for example, an application that has been reviewed or published), the application warns you and asks for an additional confirmation: you understand that work will be lost.
What gets deleted
- The account, its companies, analyses, and applications.
- The documents you uploaded: the original files and all their indexed content.
- Access for everyone you invited.
- Comments, activity history, and reviews.
What is kept
- Your invoices and payment records. Spanish tax law requires keeping them; they remain in Stripe, unlinked from your account data, and available to you.
- The personal users of the people you invited. They lose access to this account, not their enisa.ai user.
- Encrypted backups, which rotate and disappear on their own within a maximum of 30 days.
Common issues
What if I want to undo it?
Within the 14 days: click Cancel deletion or use the link in the email — nothing will have been deleted yet. After the date, the account can no longer be recovered.
What if I can't see the Danger zone?
Only the owner and admins see "My account", and deletion is the owner's decision. If you need the account deleted and you are not the owner, ask them to do it or to transfer ownership to you.
What if I just want to stop receiving emails?
No need to delete the account: adjust your preferences in Settings → My user → Notifications, or use the unsubscribe link in the email itself.
