Uploading documents: formats and limits
Supported formats, the 25 MB limit, what each status after upload means, and what to do with a scanned PDF that has no text.

You can upload PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, text, image and audio files to enisa.ai, up to 25 MB per file. By the end you will have yours uploaded, know how to read the statuses each file goes through, and what to do if one is marked "Sin texto legible" (no readable text).
Formats and limits
- Formats: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, text, images and audio.
- Size: maximum 25 MB per file.
- What to upload for an application: deed of incorporation, annual accounts, deck, financial model, relevant contracts. The better this is, the better the draft.
Uploading a file
- Go to Documentos (for company material) or to an application's Conocimiento tab (for that application's material).
- Click the upload area and choose the file; formats and the limit are shown underneath.
- Watch the file's status — each step means something:
- Analizando (scanning): we are checking the file is safe. Until then we neither read nor use it.
- Indexando (indexing): file checked; we are reading it so we can cite it.
- Ready (no label): available to the AI, with citations to document and page.
- Rechazado (rejected): the antivirus scan flagged it. We will not read it.
- Sin texto legible (no readable text): stored, but we could not extract text.
- Before pressing Ejecutar in an application, wait until the important files are ready: a document still processing does not make it into the draft.
Duplicates: detected automatically
If you upload a file byte-for-byte identical to one you already had, we detect it and reuse the existing one — you will see the "you already had this file" notice. Storage and processing are not duplicated, and re-uploading the same deed three times is harmless.
Scanned PDFs: the case that matters
Many deeds are scans: images of pages, with no text layer. Such a PDF is marked "Sin texto legible" and is not used to draft answers — there is no text to cite.
What to do: get a text version (the original PDF from the notary or agent, or run it through an OCR tool) and upload that. The scan can stay stored, but it will contribute nothing to the draft.
Audio: stored, not read yet
You can upload audio files and they are stored, but for now nothing transcribes them, so their content does not reach the draft. If you have context to share, write it in the application's Comentarios: that is saved, read, and tied to the question you choose.
Common issues
What if I uploaded a file and the list did not grow?
Almost certainly an exact duplicate: check the notice above the upload area. The file was already available.
What if my file has been "Analizando" for a long time?
The security scan comes before everything: until it finishes, the file is not used. If it stays stuck for a long time, write to us.
What if the file shows "Rechazado"?
The antivirus scan flagged it. Generate the file again from a clean source and re-upload it; if you believe it is a false positive, contact us.
