ENISA's financing lines

ENISA's five current lines: Startups y Pymes plus four sector lines. Same financial terms; what changes is who qualifies for each one.

Updated on

ENISA today offers five financing lines: Startups y Pymes (the general one) and four sector lines — Emprendedoras Digitales, AgroInnpulso, Audiovisual e Industrias Culturales y Creativas and Innovación x Clima — with the same financial terms across all of them. This structure, verified against enisa.es on 6 August 2026, is simpler than many websites still describe.

The five current lines

  1. Startups y Pymes — the general line. If your company meets the requirements, this is your line by default.
  2. Emprendedoras Digitales — a sector line tied to women-led digital entrepreneurship.
  3. AgroInnpulso — a sector line for innovation in the agri-food space.
  4. Audiovisual e Industrias Culturales y Creativas — a sector line for the audiovisual and cultural and creative industries.
  5. Innovación x Clima — a sector line tied to climate innovation.

What matters: the financial terms are the same across all of them — €25,000 to €1,500,000, up to 7 years, up to 2 years' grace, no guarantees, own funds at least equal to the loan. What changes between lines is who can apply to each one. The four sector lines add their own access criteria on top of the general ones; check each line's page on enisa.es for the current detail, because ENISA is who defines them.

Fitting a sector line can be worth it — differentiated budgets and a call closer to your project — and our analysis flags it when it detects the fit.

Beware of outdated information

Until recently ENISA organised its financing into three lines by company stage: Jóvenes Emprendedores (up to €75,000), Emprendedores (up to €300,000), and Crecimiento (up to €1,500,000), with requirements such as the age of the majority shareholders. That structure is no longer the current one, but it still shows up on many websites, articles, and answers from general-purpose AI assistants. If a source talks about "the Jóvenes Emprendedores line" or €75,000 caps, it is quoting the past.

Common issues

Which line do I apply to?

If no sector line clearly fits you, Startups y Pymes. If you think you fit a sector line, review its criteria on enisa.es or run our analysis, which assesses the fit.

Can I apply to two lines at once?

Each application goes through one line. Which combinations ENISA allows over time depends on its conditions; check with ENISA for your case.

I'm under 40 — do I get an advantage?

The old age-based line no longer exists as such. What counts today is the project and the requirements of the line you apply to.
